Situated in a very nice area and a grocery store just by the corner.

What was the highlight of Forenom Aparthotel Lahti
Clean, practical and functional in a good location. Very basic self catering facilities.
We visited Lahti for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. It was a busy weekend and accommodation was hard to come by. The Forenom is in a great location in the main market square. Some aspects of the building are a bit 'tired' and it's certainly not a luxury property but it is very clean, practical and functional. Good location for the triathlon too - the harbour area is a 6 minute scooter ride or 20 minute walk. We had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is enough for very basic self catering. There is an excellent supermarket next door to the building. Parking is downstairs and costs 12 Euro for 24 hours. Definitely recommend scooters for getting around the town - cheap and fast. Loved the 50m outdoor swimming pool which is 1.5km away from the hotel. Also did paddleboarding in the lake which was fantastic too.
The room was too hot - mainly because we couldn't turn off the bathroom radiator - our friends in other rooms had the same issue. It was expensive but I think that was due to accommodation being at a premium during the Ironman weekend.

Well-equipped apartment in the centre
the apartment was clean, well-equipped and very calm, the beds were comfortable, the internet was working quickly, the access was smooth and very flexible, location is good - close to centre and transportation options
if you need to come by car, you will have to pay a lot, it is not possible to open the windows and the air-conditioning was not working so efficiently, it was hard to communicate about the invoice even I kindly asked for it from the very beginning

Overheated accommodation
The accommodation is in a good location, spacious room.
A completely overheated room without the possibility of temperature regulation (the windows could not be opened). The toilet smells of cigarettes. Retro image of bathroom and toilet. Only one elevator was working.
